Social Media Marketing-This Is A Must See!
Social media marketing, is it worth the time? If you’re like me, you’re on them all the time. Be truthful here, you are on them all the time. Well, if you’re not, I spend enough time on them for the both of us. What exactly is it we accomplish on them? We chat with friends, look at profiles, read posts, send messages, update people on what we’re up to and much, much more. And, while playing Farmville or Mafia wars( whatever that is), we just know that there is some real business to be done. We know that there is some way to capitalize on these giants of the net. But how?!
So, to begin with where shall we focus our Web 2.0 marketing efforts. This may come as no surprise but if you do any amount of research online you will find that the biggest social media sites on the net right now our Facebook and Twitter. MySpace used to be the giant, but recently has been passed up by these newcomers. So, I’m sure the last time you were on the sites you noticed that there is a lot of advertising going on. So of course, it’s not too shocking that these behemoths make hundreds of millions of dollars every year in ad revenue. That’s right, Facebook marketing, Twitter marketing, MySpace marketing, and Linkedin marketing have become a huge focal point for pretty much any company in any industry. In the rest of this article we will focus on these giants, and what we can do to market on them for free. Whoops I failed to mention YouTube, YouTube marketing is probably the biggest of all.
Now, if you have it in no that this marketing is not complicated and will actually require some of the same activity. No Rocket Science here people! Really! So close, we’re so close to the thousands of free leads and many , many more reps on our teams. All that needs to be done, is some tweaking of our activities.
Change, what should we change?! Firstly, let’s drop the constant chatter about our company and products. Shocking, isn’t it?! Because that’s exactly what we were told to do by our upline and our company. And, there will be a time when we’ll focus on these things, But not right away. For me, this approach did not produce results. Nowhere near the point of financial freedom, And isn’t that our goal?! Instead we need to be talking more about ourselves and what we have to offer! we need to present ourselves like the leaders we are, and this will draw people to us.
Secondly, what can we do to show these folks that we have value? Now, there’s some really simple things that will scream value to your contacts: 1. Let’s start with an easy-to-follow system that helps people reach goals., 2. Be there for your connections and let them know that you care about their success,Even if your company does not interest them at all! 3. Share Your Value Freely! Let people tap into your knowledge without expecting something in return.
The way I look at it, the third of principle is paramount. Remember the old saying? “You must give to recieve.” That is so true! If you want to make money, you must be willing to spend it. If love is what you want, you must be willing to love. You must treat others as you want to be treated. It’s the universal law of reciprocity That one is it applied in the business world, The results can be amazing! Once you start to obey this law your business and life will never be the same!
I now freely give my knowledge, of this industry and the techniques that I have learned, Every single day, freely. Thus, I reap the rewards as well!
So, I hope you realize the simplicity, yet utter importance of social media marketing. It is a way to connect with current customers, recruit new reps, and make thousands of new connections.
